Congratulations to our Upper School Knowledge Bowl team, Team Captain Nate C. ’25, Brent H. ’25, Mera F. ’25, and Abby L. ’25, for placing SECOND at the State Knowledge Bowl Tournament at Wenatchee High School! We would also like to recognize Brendan E. ’26, Isabell V. ’28, Kavae N. ’25, Beo S. ’25, and Dash L. ’26, who are members of the Knowledge Bowl team that placed eleventh at the regional competition earlier this year!
Coach Jacobs shared, “The final round was neck and neck all the way until the last four questions, where Ridgefield (a high school with five times the population of CWA Upper School) was faster buzzing in. (We knew the answers, but buzzed in a smidge too slowly) … It is truly a testament to the intelligence and grit of our students that a school with only 154 students performs so well against teams from schools with a much larger pool of students.”
We would also like to thank Coaches Jacobs and Kangas for leading our Knowledge Bowl team this season!
